By car: Coming from Munich via the A 96 or from Stuttgart via the A 7 you get off the highway at exit “Lindau” an follow the signs directing you to “Lindau-Insel”. After crossing the lake bridge you stay on the priority street (Zwanzigerstraße). Pass the parking lot at Inselhalle and turn left at HypoVereinsbank. Keep dricing until you reach the train station. Across from there you turn into the Ludwigstrasse (next to the Hotel Bayerischer Hof). Pass this street until you reach a square called Reichsplatz, right behind the historical city hall with its colored paintings. This is where the pedestrian area starts, please park here to unload and check in. The Hotel Ratsstuben is located on the right side following the Ludwigstrasse.
Another little tip:
Travel on the navigation device? Please enter the address space station, because otherwise the navigation through thepedestrian zone. From the station square, there are only about 500 meters from theroad to the Hotel & Restaurant Louis council chambers.
By train: You exit the train at the main station “Lindau-Insel”. After leaving the train station you cross the street and follow down the Ludwigstrasse until you reach a square called Reichsplatz, right behind the historical city hall with its colored paintings. The Hotel Ratsstuben is located on the right side following the Ludwigstrasse and will be reached in between 4 minutes walking distance.
By flight: The nearest international airports are located in Zurich (120 km), Munich (180 km) and Stuttgart (200 km). The airports Friedrichshafen (20 km) as well as the Allgäu airport in Memmingen (70 km) are used on a regular basis, particularly within the internal German air traffic network.
